Hi! My name is Justin Tien, a current freshman who wants to help make a change. When I read the news and see the pictures of people suffering during natural disasters, war, or other dangerous and heartbreaking situations, my heart goes out to them. 

There are many people in this world who weren’t born into privilege, and many others suffer through no fault of their own because of many different and unjust circumstances. Because having sympathy alone is not enough, we must take action! I created the non-profit organization Young Heart to provide humanitarian aid and resources for refugees and victims of natural disasters, war, or other critical situations. No one deserves the grief and suffering caused by these events.

I hope that our efforts will help an individual or family recover from a disaster, find hope, and learn to smile again.
